MidiCi Gainesville is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This statement explains where we are, what we have done, and what we know still needs work.
Our goal
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is a target we are actively working toward, not a claim that we have reached it.
What we have done
Between 29 and 31 August 2026, we carried out a review and remediation of this website. The work covered every public page template: our home page, Our Pizza, Vibe, the Main Menu, Drinks and Specials menus, Shop, Contact, and the product and cart pages.
Testing combined manual inspection of the site’s code, keyboard-only operation of the site, and automated checking. All testing was performed as a logged-out visitor, so that the results reflect what an actual visitor experiences.
The review looked at:
- ways to skip repeated navigation, and the structure of each page;
- moving and auto-playing content, and the ability to stop it;
- heading structure and page organisation;
- the names of links and buttons as announced by assistive technology;
- our contact form;
- text alternatives for images, video and documents;
- the underlying HTML and ARIA relationships;
- the ordering and cart process.
Changes were made to the site as a result, and each was re-tested.
What we know is not yet fixed
We would rather tell you about known problems than leave you to discover them.
- We have not yet tested this site with people who use screen readers every day. Expert and automated testing is not a substitute for that, and we intend to arrange it.
- Our 3D virtual tour has no text description. We are writing one that describes the layout of the restaurant, seating, the accessible entrance, step-free routes and the location of restrooms. Until it is published, please contact us and we will describe the space or answer any question about access.
- One downloadable menu PDF has not yet been made accessible. Our full menu is available as accessible web pages, which remain the primary version.
- Some content is provided by other companies — gift cards, delivery ordering, the virtual tour and payment processing. We do not control how accessible those services are. If any of them prevents you from completing something, contact us and we will help you complete it another way.

This site is built to work with current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, and with common assistive technologies including screen readers, speech recognition and keyboard-only navigation.
Accessibility tools on this site
This site offers an accessibility widget that lets you adjust contrast, text size, spacing and other display settings for your session. It is provided as a convenience. It is not a substitute for the site itself being accessible, and we do not present it as evidence of compliance. Our remediation work targets the site’s own code.
How this statement is maintained
This statement is reviewed whenever significant changes are made to the site or to the findings above. It records the testing that has actually been carried out, not our intentions.
